MEANING OF SCHOOL BADGE

MEANING OF SCHOOL BADGE
Coconut Tree The coconut tree reminds us that St. Anthony’s tradition reaches far back into the history of Malaysia. The coconut tree shows that St. Anthony is located in Peninsula Malaysia. Every Anthonian should be loyal to the state ruler as well as to the school. The Star It symbolises the Lasallian 5 core principles. It is the symbol of faith and truth on the official seal of the De La Salle order which is incorporated in the badges of La Sallian schools. It also represents the star of Bethlehem, reminding the Anthonians to always reach for the reachable star of their conviction and ideals. The 5 V-shaped projections are Brother, Parents, Teacher, Alumni and Continents of La Salle school operations. The Green and White Lines Green and white lines in the Anthonian coat of arms represent the La Salle organisation, which widely took charge of all missionary schools in Asia. The Lasallian spirit should be present in everything we do and we should keep in mind our special identity at all times. ‘S’ and ‘A’ This symbol means ‘St. Anthony’ the name of our school. It is the symbol of love and loyalty because we, as Anthonians should be proud and respect the school. The Lily The lily under the shield represents Saint Anthony of Padua’s purity and his battle against the demon since childhood. It symbolises purity and reminds Anthonians to uphold their values to fight against all odds. Caritas Non Ficta The quarters of arms symbolises faith, truth as well as loyalty. Our school’s motto ‘CARITAS NON FICTA’ which appears under the shield reminds us to serve the community willingly, sincerely and faithfully or it is also known as charity without hypocrisy.
